Registration for the 2024 season has officially closed and we will not be adding  players . Our divisions are filled and couldn’t be happier. 

Now the fun begins!! The executive members will be busy for the next few weeks getting the teams drafted, uniforms ordered, equipment organized and schedules made.  Coaches will be  reaching out to players in early May once they have received their rosters.

We are hoping for the season to start May 13th ( weather permitting)

The Niagara Girls Minor Softball Association is pleased to announce that we will be holding our Annual Falls Classic Select Tournament on Saturday June 22, 2024. 

This year we will be hosting teams in the U17 Bantam  and U21 Midget divisions. 

We will cap each division at 8 teams. Teams will be confirmed once both payment and registration forms have been received.  There will be no holding of spots.

All Games will be played at Patrick Cummings Sports Complex in Niagara Falls.

The tournament will be round robin format with a 3-game guarantee -weather permitting. MVP awards will be given out for all round robin games and Medallions for teams placing 1st,2nd,3rd and 4th. OSSTA rules will apply with the additional clause that the tournament host (NGMSA) may alter the tournament format/location should the need arise due to circumstances beyond our control (for example: weather).

What is Select Softball?

Players from Niagara Girls Minor Softball Association House League can tryout for our Select Teams.

Tryouts will be early May, dates TBA pending field availability.

The Select Team at U11, U13 & U15 will be an "All Star Team" from our House League that will travel to three 1-day tournaments and compete at Provincials 2-day tournament.  In addition to their House League team practices and games, they will have an additional practice most weeks with their Select Team.

To note: U17 & U21 will be playing in 4-5 tournaments as NGMSA does not offer Rep at this time for U17 & U21.
